MEET THE COACHES

Club Owner/Coach | Grew up in West Valley City, Utah attended Granger High School.  Played Basketball 2 years at UVSC, and 2 years at Southern Utah.  Played for Coach Jeff Reinert (UVSC), and Coach Bill Evans (SUU).  Loves being in the GYM and the opportunity to teach and coach young players.  For the past 4 years has been an assistant varsity coach at Cyprus High School.  Currently Coaches 2029 and 2030 Select teams which participate in the Under Armour Future Events. 

Coach | Grew up in West Valley City, Utah attended Granger High School.  Played 1 year at CEU, 1 year at SLCC, and 1 year at Western Oregon.  Spencer's teams are always consistent in winning and being successful.  Year in and year out they perform at a high level.  Spencer coached our 2026 Select team in the summer of 2022 to win the Under Armour National Championship in Indianapolis.  48 teams were represented and Salt City Hustle 2026 Select were crowned.  This team has been invited to play in the Under Armour Rise Circuits going forward which is an accomplishment to be recognized.

Coach/Player Development | Grew up in West Valley City, Utah attended Granger High School.  Played 2 years at Snow College.  Mark's understanding of the game and personal training has elevated our club to another level.  Mark has trained players from all over the state of Utah.  Proof is in the pudding, Salt City Hustle has proven players.  Mark also coaches 2027, and 2028 select teams that participate in the Under Armour Future Events.

Coach | From Highland Springs, Virginia.  Coach Terry brings years of coaching experience to the Salt City Hustle Program.  He has experience coaching in Bellevue, Washington at Sammamish High School, Orem High School Orem, Utah and Cyprus High School, Magna Utah. Coaching from Freshman to the Varsity level Coach Terry has always been successful.  Specialty on the defensive side of the ball he excels at defensive strategy and game prep. Coach Terry was awarded a bowling Scholarship for Brigham Young University and also Weber State.

Coach | Seth attended Olympus High School Salt Lake City, Utah.  He played for 2 years at Ricks College and 2 years at St Mary's.  Seth is one of the smartest basketball coaches and players I have ever played with and been around.  He is able to transfer this knowledge to our Salt City Hustle North Youngblood team.  In the 2021-2022 season this team went to the Semifinal game and had a solid year.  Seth is a valuable asset to the Salt City Hustle Program his coaching cannot be replaced and we are thankful he is part of the Hustle Family. 

Asst. Coach | John attended Olympus High School Salt Lake City, Utah.  John played 2 years under Coach Jeff Reinert (UVSC) and was one of the best shooters the state of Utah has ever seen.  John has coached younger athletes in the Olympus High School Bantam program and was very successful.  He now coaches our Salt City Hustle North Team,  along with Seth Dahle, together they are a strong coaching duo with a proven track record of success.

Asst. Coach | Kristin grew up in Centerville, Utah. She attended Viewmont High School and played basketball first at Boise St, and then transferring to Brigham Young University. Kristin helped coach our 2024 Select team to an undefeated season in the Youngblood League, she is also an assistant coach with the 2029 select team which went undefeated in the 2021-2022 Youngblood season. Kristins basketball knowledge and experience has propelled the success of the program. Her contributions are greatly appreciated and valued.
